Book Summary

Ella lives on the fictional island of Nollop, where language is revered and even worshiped. So, when letters begin falling from the esteemed pangram, the council decides it’s a supernatural sign that they should no longer use those letters in their speech.

The book is a linguistical adventure and satire on freedom of speech written from the perspective of multiple characters who communicate through letters. Each letter describes the events as they unfold. However, because of new laws, they must leave out the prohibited letters. By the end of the book, they can only use the letters L, M, N, O, and P to communicate.
